TempestVitals: free risk assessments for community clinics
Each year I do 4 complete HIPAA security risk assessments, free of charge, for clinics in Hampton Roads that serve uninsured and underinsured patients.
Who qualifies
- Free and charitable clinics
- Nonprofit practices where most patients are uninsured or on Medicaid
- Located in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton and Newport News
- No professional security assessment in the last two years
What you get
Exactly what paying practices get: the questionnaire, the on-site walkthrough, the full written risk analysis, a prioritized fix list and the review meeting. Nothing is held back.
If the work helps, I'll ask whether you're willing to say so publicly. It's optional and never a condition of the program.
How to apply
Send an email to info@bytetempest.com with the clinic's name and city, roughly how many staff you have, who your patients are, and what prompted you to reach out. I reply to every application within a week, and slots are filled in the order applications arrive.
